DESCRIPTION:
After the success of the original X Cube and its design, SMOK landed the X Cube Ultra, making it a very reputable mod. It provided many new improvements from its successor, including a wattage increase from 160 to 220, the ability to fire and sub-ohm tank or RDA/RTA and a new vibration feature to add to the vaping experience. It also has Bluetooth, a compatible app which allows the user to change the LED fire bar to whatever they desire (this can also be done through the settings as well) and OTA technology that permits upgrades to be wirelessly done in a very short period of time. The X Cube Ultra is also about 10% light and smaller than the X Cube, making it handier to carry around and use. It requires 2 18650 batteries to function and has a unique magnetic door to cover them. The device comes in two colors as well, black and stainless steel.
You can find it online on select sites for about $40. I think it could be a little cheaper considering the age but, that is just me.
EXPERIENCE:
I had always been a fan of the X Cube Ultra and when I finally got it, I was content. I was about a year too late though. As more and more new technology came out, it felt outdated and eventually began to not function as well as it had once I took it out of the box. I have retired this mod as it wouldn't recognize any new tanks and battery life was drained extremely quick, even after buying 2 sets of brand new 18650 batteries, but it had a great run while it lasted. Definitely a great mod produced by SMOK at the time it was necessary.
