SMOK outdid itself by releasing the Alien Kit over a year ago and it took the vaping industry by storm. This mod provides a powerful and comfortable vaping experience that features clean lines and a conveniently designed curvature for a smooth feel in your hands.
The Alien fires between 6 and 220W and allows you to switch between wattage and temperature control mode for choosing and particular coil types as well. The OLED display provides detailed information within an easy-to-read operational screen and informs you of your current voltage, ohms, amperage, mode, working temperature (PCB°C) and a puff counter. This mod is not heavy, which makes carrying it around quite effortless, considering there are two 18650 batteries needed to power the device. It measures 85mm by 44mm by 30mm.
The Alien is affordable and simple yet very powerful. It goes for about $30. It's a pretty fair price for just a strong, reliable mod. You can get a kit now as well and of course that is going to be a little bit more.
EXPERIENCE
My personal experience with this mod has been truly wonderful. I have given it a hard time and to this day, it is still up and running. I have dropped it on numerous occasions and only once have the batteries fallen out. It's been covered in juice and nothing goes wrong. Yeah the paint has worn but what do you expect when you use it every single day and take it in and out of your pocket? The only thing that bothers me is that as newer tanks come out, it has an issue with recognizing them. It will adjust ohms really low or too high and give me an error message that usually involves me fiddling with it for a few moments. Maybe I haven't upgraded any firmware that's available. I don't really know. Other than that, it is super reliable and very easy to use.
